Country - ancient lands
Solo exhibition presented at Sturt Gallery in Mittagong, opened by Dr Julie Bartholomew. The work draws inspiration from the Australian landscape and the Artist-in-Residence undertaken at the Benyamini Contemporary Ceramics Centre in Tel Aviv, Israel in 2017. Clays and soils are collected and used in the work, and this series explores materials from the Monaro High Plains and the Bogong High Plain in New South Wales, Australia and Mitzpe Ramon on the edge of the Negev Desert, Israel.
