Dreams of home Series

I often work in series exploring materials and techniques over a period of time. This series, Dreams of home, focuses on the making process- a combination of slab building, stamping and slip casting. The work speaks about my connection to and relationship with place, and explores how abstract attributes of my memory, emotionally and aesthetically, are embedded in the work.

The work in  Image 1 and Image 2 was selected for the 2008 Sidney Myer Fund International Ceramic Award at the Shepparton Art Museum and curated by Ah Xian.

The other works displayed were presented at the 2007 National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) 41st Annual Conference, Kentucky, USA.
